Murph: T Minus One Week
Six Days Until Murph. Memorial Day Monday. Months of prep and I feel weaker than ever.
Good friend of mine walked into her box in Floriday yesterday and heard someone say. "Ohh No" - Murph was on the board. She banged it out in 1:14 (two good runs, 100 banded pullups, 37 of the 200 pushups military and rest on knees and 300 proper squats - no body armor).
My goal is this: all in body armor. Two good runs. Banded and jumping pullups. All 200 pushups as close to GI as possible. Good squats. Sounds simple. I realize I wont have unlimited time and want to have a good first showing but I also want to have as few non-Rx movements as possible.
I am as ready as I will be. This is a seriously important holiday to me. This is one way I will honor the fallen.
